LHC - kitchen hood regulation
Marvel is a new product, developed together with Halton from Finland, designed for advanced
air-conditioning solutions of commercial kitchen hoods and galley air-conditioning.
This solution enables detection of current activity for each item of cooking equipment.
That enables reduction of the ventilation when there is no activity and increase ventilation
when equipment is fully operational.
Air-conditioning and ventilation system is one of the biggest consumers of energy in commercial kitchens.
We can save a lot of energy if we are able to control the fan, so that we don't affect the working conditions at the same time.
Some years ago, Halton developed a system with UV lamps inside the ventilation hoods, to efficiently avoid grease accumulation within the ventilation ducts and filters.
This new solution is combination of both and enables big energy savings, user and nature friendly enviroment.
